Earthquake relief efforts in Pakistan

The earthquake on October 8, 2005 in the northern areas of Pakistan, measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale, has affected millions of people. Tens of thousands are dead, with many more injured and bodies still to be recovered from under the rubble. A large number of livestock and companion animals have also been affected by this national tragedy.

The World Society for the Protection of Animals, WSPA, are arranging to deploy emergency veterinary teams for the aid of the thousands of animals in need of help. Let us not forget the animal victims. Please donate generously to WSPA’s disaster relief efforts.
